UPSC CAPF Exam 2021 Notification

UPSC CAPF Exam 2021 notification was issued by the Union Public Service Commission on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Registration for the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandants) Examination has begun on UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in. The deadline to submit application for the exam is May 5, 2021. The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), include the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), will fill 159 Assistant Commandants (Group A) positions through this recruitment push.

Dates to Remember
The application period begins on April 15, 2021, and ends on May 5, 2021.
Withdrawal of online applications from May 12 to May 18, 2021.
Criteria for Eligibility: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a university founded by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or from other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification. The candidate’s age should be between 20 and 25 years old.
Application Fees: Fees: All applicants, except females, SC/STs, must pay a fee of Rs. 200. The fees must be paid in cash at any State Bank of India branch, or by credit/debit card (Visa/Master/RuPay), or via SBI’s Internet Banking.
According to the official note, the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant recruitment exam will be held on August 8. Candidates can contact UPSC’s facilitation counter near the campus’s “C” gate in person or by phone at 23385271, 011-23381125, 011-23098543 on working days between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. for any advice, detail, or clarification regarding their applications, candidature, or other matters.
Once a year, the UPSC CAPF exam is held. There are three parts to the exam: written, physical, and an interview or personality test. Candidates must also meet the physical endurance-related eligibility requirements to be considered for the role. All who pass the preliminary and main exams are invited to take the physical endurance tests (PET).
