AFCAT 2 2020 SSB Interview Dates
An important notification has come up for the AFCAT candidates. As you all are aware that the Indian Air Force has already declared the AFCAT 2020 results on its official website – afcat.cdac.in.
Shortlisted candidates needed to choose the AFSB Interview Dates before the deadline of 25 October 2020 (11 AM).
AFCAT 2020 2 results were declared on 20 October 2020. AFCAT 2 2020 Written Exam was conducted by IAF between 3 Oct to 5 Oct 2020.
A total of 256 vacancies under Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical), Flying Branch are to be filled up this year via AFCAT (Air Force Common Aptitude Test).
AFCAT 2 2020 Official Cut-Off
AFCAT 2 2020 exam included the AFCAT Online Exam and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).
Non-Technical candidates appeared in Online Exam while for Technical Candidates both EKT Exam and AFCAT Online Exam.
Following are the cut off marks for AFCAT & EKT.
- AFCAT Online Exam (Total 300 Marks) – 155
- EKT (Total Marks- 150) – 40
AFCAT 2 2020 SSB Dates
IAF has officially announced the AFCAT 2 2020 SSB Interview date for Ground and Flying Duties (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.
The SSB selection process will begin from November 14. Candidates who have chosen the venue and date for the SSB process are advised to make required preparations and keep themselves physically and mentally fit when they appear for the SSB process.
AFSB/AFCAT SSB includes three stages which are as follows: –
Stage – 1
This stage includes the Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test followed by Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT). The first stage is a screening test and only those who qualify it are eligible for the Stage – II.
Stage -II
In Stage II the next 4-day process is held where the Psychological Test, Group Test and Personal Interview takes place.
For Flying Branch- Upon qualifying all the stages candidates are required to appear for the Computerized Pilot Selection System.
Stage- III
Stage 3 consists of the Medical Examinations where only candidates recommended by the Selection Board and qualifying the Stage -I and Stage-II reach.The candidates are sent at Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME), New Delhi Or Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru.
After this, An All India Merit List is prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the written test, AFSB interview and medical examination.
According to the vacancies available in various branches/sub-branches and instructions are issued to the to be commissioned candidates.
