Indian Army Kills 1 Pakistani Terrorist, Other Arrested in Uri

Indian Army has once again foiled the nefarious designs of Pakistan. According to the information given by the army, a Pakistani terrorist has been killed in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, while one terrorist has been arrested.

The army has carried out this action on September 25 during a major operation conducted in the Uri sector. The army has got a large quantity of arms and ammunition from these terrorists. These include 7 AK-class rifles, 9 pistol-revolvers, more than 80 grenades and Indian and Pakistani currency.

On Tuesday, a press conference has been held by the army regarding this operation. It has been told that on September 18, an army patrol saw an infiltration along the LoC in the Uri sector. After this the encounter started. Out of the total 6, 4 terrorists were across the border, while 2 terrorists had come across it. A 9-day long operation was carried out to capture them.

The army has said that the name of the arrested terrorist is Ali Badar Patra. He is a resident of Punjab province of Pakistan. He has confessed during interrogation that he was trained in Muzaffarabad from Lashkar-e-Taiba and is a member of this terrorist organization. During the firing, 4 terrorists took advantage of the darkness and dense forests of the night and ran back towards Pakistan. Additional forces were deployed to nab 2 terrorists who entered Indian territory.

The army has informed that it has also come to the fore in the investigation that 3 porters were also provided to these terrorists from Pakistan side to bring the goods. The army says that the movement of such a large number of people on the border cannot happen without the shelter of the Pakistani army.

According to the army, this infiltration attempt has taken place in Salamabad Nala area of ​​Uri. Infiltration took place in the same area in 2016. After this the suicide attack was carried out.
