In Punjab’s Pathankot, the gate of the army camp has been attacked with a grenade. Bike riders threw a grenade at the Triveni gate gate of the camp. After the incident, an alert has been issued in all the areas of Pathankot. At present, the identity of the attackers is being investigated by examining the CCTV footage.

Pathankot SSP Surendra Lamba said, “Prima facie it has been learned that there has been a grenade blast here. Further investigation is on. It is being told that a motorcycle passed, at the same time there was a blast. We are hopeful of getting good CCTV footage.”
Pathankot is one of the most important bases of India. It houses an air force station, an army ammunition depot and two armored brigades and armored units. In January 2016, there was a terrorist attack on the Pathankot Air Force Station. The Pathankot Air Force Station was attacked by terrorists armed with a large quantity of ammunition. Five terrorists were killed in this attack, while 8 soldiers of the army were martyred.
