Candidates who have appeared for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) are requested to check their results by logging on to the official website at afcat. cdac.in. .The test was conducted for 235 vacancies under Flying Branch, Ground Duty Technical and Non-Technical Posts. Every year the IAF conducts the AFCAT exam to zero in on candidates for Permanent Commissioning/Short Service Commissioning in Flying and Ground Branches for the IAF. The cut-off for AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) Exam is 165 and 30 respectively, which seems to be the highest ever cut-off. Last year, the cut off for AFCAT and EKT was 153 and 40 respectively. Similarly, the cut off for AFCAT (1) & (2) for the year 2019 was 133 and 142 respectively. It may sound strange but the cut-off of EKT in 2019 for both (1) & (2) remained at 50. In the year 2018, the cut-off for AFCAT (1) & (2) was 155 and 140 while that of EKT was pegged at 60 and 55.
The examination was held on February 20, 21 and 22, 2021 while the admit card issued on February 5, 2021. Simply log on to the official website afcat.cdac.in or click on the link https://afcat.cdac.in/afcatreg/signin to check the AFCAT exam results in 2021. It will lead you to home page. Click on the candidate login section flashing on the homepage to check AFCAT exam results. And a new page will appear and you need to login for checking the AFCAT exam results Enter your email ID and password to be followed by inserting the captcha code for security purposes. Simply download AFCAT exam results via individual login. You can save the soft copy of result for future purposes.
The students selected after AFCAT 2021 written exam will now appear for the interview rounds. Those who have qualified for AFCAT 1 exam 2021 will appear for the next stage i.e. the SSB Interview at Air Force Selection Boards.
Candidates are requested to choose the date and venue of AFSB Testing within a specific period of time, after which allotment will be done randomly. The shortlisted candidates from the interview round will sit for the medical test. A candidate who clears all the stages of the AFCAT 2021 recruitment process will be offered the job in the Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC)/ Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches.
As approved by IAF, the AFCAT selection procedure involves three stages – AFCT CBT/ EKT exam, AFSB interview and a medical test, after which shortlisted aspirants will be posted on the vacant posts in different services of the IAF.
