Today’s world is encouraging female to prove their ability to the world in every field. They prove their self in every field . Our Armed forces also started to give opportunities to the female candidate.
In the lieu of this Indian Navy in their aviation branch appoint Lieutenant Shivangi as first female pilot of Indian Navy aviation branch.
She will join Naval Operations after completing her training which is undergoing at Southern Naval Command situated in Kochin, Kerala which will continue till December 2, 2019.
On completing her training she will be eligible to fly aircraft from dornier group.
Till now Indian Navy appoints female officers in aviation only for the post of air traffic control (ATC) officers as well as observers .
They are also responsible for communication and weapons related issues.
Who is Lieutenant Shivangi
- Upbringing of our female pilot is in Muzzaffarpur, Bihar and also completes her schooling from DAV public school.
- She graduates in Indian Navy after completing her training.
- After training she gets post of SSC(pilot) in the 27 NOC course in Indian Naval Academy locates in Ezhimala.
- Vice Admiral AK Chawla formally commissions her in last year in the month of June.
