How to Join Territorial Army?

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Citizens of India who are well settled in any government or private job, self-employed persons are eligible to apply.
2. Gainfully employed or having a good sustained business is a pre-requisite for joining TA. Those who have passed graduation and applying for NDA, CDS,

   or any other exam in the armed forces are not eligible for this. Only those who are working somewhere in a good position are eligible. All such details will be checked in during TA preliminary interview, in which the TA written exam qualified candidates appear.

AGE LIMIT FOR:

3. The maximum age limit has been prescribed as 42 years.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

4. Qualification includes graduate from any recognized university.

DOORS SHUT FOR SERVING ARMED FORCES MEMBERS

5. Doors of Territorial Army will remain closed for serving member of the Regular Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, GREF, Para Military and like forces.
