Psychological Test is conducted on the second day of the five day process of SSB.
The main purpose of the test is to evaluate the potentials, capability, strength and weaknesses of the candidate at the conscious and subconscious level.
This is taken by an expert psychologist who prepares a report based on your tests which will be written down on your profile.
During the interview some questions might be asked following the stories you wrote hence you need to be real and true while the psychology test because you can act differently from conscious mind but not from your subconscious mind and psychologist will come to know.
So there is no point of hiding your true self as the truth makes a way out. So does that mean you have lost the chance?
The answer is NO!!

How this test is organized now? Well psychology test consists of four assessments:-
1- Thematic Appreciation Test (TAT) –
In TAT the candidates are shown 11 pictures little unclear and 1 blank for 30 second and candidates have to write story within 4 minute with whatever thought candidate have in mind.
Do not try to act over smart since this test is contrast to time psychologist will understand true feeling on your subconscious level.
2- Word Association Test (WAT) –
In WAT 60 words are shown on projector for 15 seconds and candidates has to write the very first thing that comes in their mind. Some will be related to social some to intellect, etc.
Again same tip do not write something which will go against subconscious level.
Questions might be asked during interview and hence automatically answer will not go along with the topic written.
3- Situation Reaction Test (SRT) –
This is like to check the candidates reaction. How they react on given situation. They will be given in total 60 situations and are expected to give spontaneous reaction meaning have to write whatever reaction comes to your mind. The situations given will be familiar or unfamiliar real to life.
4- Self Description –
As the word describes self description in this assessment candidates are required to write what his parents, teachers, friends and you yourself thinks about you and your personality on a whole.
Both the positive and negative qualities are to be written which will be analyzed by the psychologist.
