Will Girls be Allowed Through TES Entry ?

Yes, applicants who complete the 10+2 TES (Technical entrance Scheme) entrance can now obtain a permanent command in the Indian Navy. In 2023, the Indian Navy began accepting applications from women for permanent commission. This programme allows women to join the Indian Navy as officers in a variety of technical fields like engineering, electrical, and naval architecture. By accessing the Indian Navy’s official website and completing the application form, female candidates can submit an application for the 10+2 TES entrance. A written test is part of the selection process, and it is followed by a medical exam and an interview.

Navy TES Selection Process :-

The Navy TES selection process typically involves several stages, including the following:

1. Written Exam: Those who meet the requirements for eligibility must take a written exam. portions A and B will make up the two portions of the test. The written exam will be administered in English and will last one hour. There will be negative grading for wrong responses on the objective-style written test.

2. Interview: Those applicants who pass the written test will be chosen for an interview. The interview will be conducted by a group of Indian Navy officers. The candidate’s personality, communication abilities, potential for leadership, and technical expertise will all be evaluated during the interview.

3. Medical Exam: The interview panel will propose candidates who must go through a medical exam. To make sure the candidate is physically fit to serve in the Indian Navy, a medical examination will be performed. Medically unfit candidates will not be allowed to continue in the screening process.

4. Merit List: Based on their performance in the written exam, interview, and medical examination, candidates who advance through all phases of the selection process will be listed in order of merit. Based on the number of openings and the overall performance of the applicants, a merit list will be created.

5. Final Selection: Subject to meeting the necessary medical and fitness criteria, candidates who are put on the merit list would be presented with an offer of a permanent commission in the Indian Navy. The Navy then grants permanent commissions to all Girls.
