Indian Navy AA/SSR 2021 Preparation Tips : Indian Navy is conducting Navy AA/SSR Written Exam and PFT from 6th July to 9th July 2021.

This year it will be a challenge for Navy aspirants to clear AA/SSR exam as only 10000 students have been called up for the written exam and PFT (Physical Fitness Test) due to the direct reason of ongoing corona pandemic.

Indian Navy has shortlisted the candidates for written examination and PFT on the basis of the percentage of qualifying examination (10+2 examination).

In order to help the aspirants (especially the first time attempting candidates) we are providing Navy AA/SSR 2021 last minute preparation tips.

NAVY AA/SSR 2021 Written Exam (Subject Wise) Preparation Tips 

English Preparation : Most of the questions in the English section are from grammar. You must have read grammar i.e. Grammar even before 12th. This question is very simple. You can easily prepare for grammar from Oxford English Grammar Book. At the same time you have to memorize a new English word every day. Write one English word from the dictionary in your diary every day for you to memorize.

One must read English newspaper daily. Reading English newspaper has many benefits such as English vocabulary, knowledge of new English words, grammar and general knowledge, current affairs also gets prepared. You can also practice with online English mock test papers.

Science Preparation: Most of the questions in Science section are of 9th and 10th standard. If you have studied science well in your 9th and 10th class then you will not face any problem in science section. For the preparation of science, you should pay more attention to theory, numericals are not asked.

One should start preparing for Science section of SSR exam from 2 to 3 months in advance. For this, one chapter should be read daily from Science subject of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class. Make notes of important information. Watch Science Syllabus videos from YouTube, make notes and practice with online mock test papers. Practice from previous year question paper.

Maths Preparation : Questions in Mathematics section mostly come from class 12th. It requires a lot of practice. Prepare maths according to the syllabus. Whenever you have free time or if you get time in school, make use of it. This free time is very favorable for the preparation of Mathematics. Concentrate more on preparing for Calculus and Integral questions. Practice from previous year question paper. Solve the examples also.

General Knowledge Preparation : Daily Current Affairs, Competition Darpan, Newspapers, News Channels etc. As you know that classes of general knowledge are not held in schools. You have to prepare for it yourself.

Although General Knowledge is a very big subject, but you should prepare according to the syllabus. Some questions are also from reasoning, for this you will have to practice. You can take help of coaching institute for reasoning chapter. You can also prepare for current affairs from YouTube. Nowadays, videos of current affairs are shared on various channels on YouTube every day.

NAVY AA/SSR 2021 Other Important Tips 

As a candidate don’t forget to take Admit Card & Original ID proof along with its photocopy as well. It is mandatory to submit a negative RT-PCR laboratory report of COVID-19 from the Govt/ ICMR accredited laboratory by candidates at the time of written examination (Note-Report should be dated a maximum of 72 hours prior to reporting date).

The original documents uploaded by the candidates during the online filling of application, i.e., Original Certificates, Mark Sheets, Domicile Certificate, and NCC Certificate (if held) are to be brought by the candidates at all stages of recruitment (PFT and Final Enrollment Medical at INS Chilka). If the details provided in the ‘online application’ are not matching with original documents at any stage, the candidature will be canceled.

Maintain your mental and physical health.

Visit the doctor once for full checkup.

Take complete rest before the exam day.

Maintain proper health diet and keep healthy liquids like fruit juice, toned milk, vegetable juice etc.

Do full warm up and regular exercise.
