Yes, you are eligible for the NDA examination but selection solely depends upon meeting the specific vision criteria set by the authorities. Although NDA examination is held to select candidates for three wings of armed forces i.e Army, Navy and Air Force vision standard vary. INDIAN ARMY:
Uncorrected without glass – 6/12

Limits for myopia 0.75D and for Hypermetropia +1.5D

Candidates with colour and night blindness are rejected
Corrected vision for better eye and the worse eye is 6/6 and 6/9 respectively. Myopia and hypermetropia should not exceed 0.75D and +1.5D respectively. Applications of candidates who have undergone Radial Keratotomy or laser surgery will be rejected outrightly. Eyes are examined via ophthalmoscope to rule out the possibility of any eye disease. Moreover, a candidate is expected to identify white, red and green colours accurately as depicted by Martin’s Lantern at a distance of 1.5 meters.
The vision standard for the flying branch of the Indian Air force, Indian navy and Indian army and also the snipers of the Indian Army vary. Candidates with weak vision are unfit to become a front-line soldier but you are still eligible for other branches of the Indian Army such as the education department, finance, logistic etc.

Those with weak eyesight are still eligible to join Indian Navy but their activities and area of operation will be restricted to the educational department, navy architecture, naval ship design, finance or logistic, etc.
INDIAN AIR FORCE:
The procedure is almost identical for Air Force but those with poor vision are unfit for a fighter pilot or fighter helicopter pilot role. There are still chances that you can be allowed to join the flying branch as a cargo pilot or other branches such as the education department, canteen department, finance or logistic with spectacles? Corrected vision for better eye and the worse eye is 6/6 and 6/9 respectively. Near Vision must be N-5 for each eye.
