Army has found the body of Lt Col Abhit Singh Bath, one of the pilots of the helicopter that crashed in Ranjit Sagar Dam. Lt Col Abhit Singh Bath is a resident of Amritsar. He leaves behind his wife and two children.

On August 3, the helicopter crashed in Palahi village near Kathua, Jammu, 20 minutes after the exercise took off.
