60th ITBP Foundation Day 2021 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted the personnel of the force on the foundation day of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). He said that whenever the country needed him, he responded with indomitable courage and dedication. ITBP was established after the 1962 war with China and has about 90,000 personnel.
PM Modi tweeted on the 60th foundation day of ITBP and said, “From the dense forests of Arunachal Pradesh to the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, the Himveers of our ITBP have shown indomitable courage and dedication at the call of the country.” Congratulations to the personnel of the force. Giving it, he said, “The humanitarian work done by the force at the time of disaster is commendable.”
