Preparations are on to increase the amount of financial assistance to the families of all the Central Armed Police Forces personnel who lost their lives while on duty. The Ministry of Home Affairs is considering a proposal to increase this amount to Rs 35 lakh.
According to sources, instructions in this regard can also be issued by all the forces soon. Now, be it CRPF or CISF, there is talk of giving only Rs 35 lakh as risk fund to the families of the soldiers who died in the line of duty of all forces.

According to the news of ‘News 18’, this assistance amount can be implemented from 1 November 2021. However, this increased financial assistance will be given only to the families of the soldiers who died in the line of duty. Apart from this, in the event of loss of life due to any reason, there will be no change in the amount of financial assistance to the family of the jawan.
Let us inform that after raising the issue of discrimination in financial assistance from the families of the martyrs, now it is going to be decided to make this amount equal. According to a CISF official, earlier all the forces used to give financial help to the families of the martyrs according to their financial plan, but now this amount will be made uniform for all the forces.
