Jabalpur was once again proud in honour of the brave soldiers posted in the security of the country. The ornament ceremony of the Central Command of the Army was held today at the PVC Parade Ground, the prestigious Colonel Hoshiar Singh of the Grenadiers Regimental Center, Jabalpur Cantonment.
The ceremony is held to honour the brave soldiers and valiant martyrs of the Indian Army who have demonstrated exceptional bravery and outstanding service to the nation. On this special occasion, the Army Commander of the Central Command, Lt Gen IS Ghuman, awarded 20 Jabanas with the Sena Medal (gallantry) for his valour.
On this occasion, Lieutenant General IS Ghuman said- It is a proud day for me. This is the time when we offer respect to our brave soldiers. Today I saw passion, truth and passion in everything. New efforts are being made soon through our government and the army. The government will cooperate fully for children and families. He said – We have a problem with China. With this we also got a big achievement. We got ready for every challenge. We are ready for any kind of sacrifice in the safety and honor of the country. Today China cannot show us the eyes. China’s army is also going back.
Before this, the ornamentation ceremony started with the parade salute. Lieutenant General IS Ghuman awarded 20 gallantry medals, including two posthumous Army Medals (gallantry). Apart from this, Lieutenant General IS Ghuman also provided medals for 11 other distinguished services and unit citation for 15 Army units for professional excellence. Senior Army officers, ex-servicemen of the district were present on this occasion besides the soldiers who received the award.
