The Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday responded to China’s statement, which said that India is responsible for the situation on the Line of Actual Control. The Foreign Ministry again rejected China’s statement on the border dispute. The ministry said- ‘An attempt by China to unilaterally change the status quo in eastern Ladakh and the mobilization of troops from the Chinese side led to unrest along the border.
The deployment of military contingents and weapons is going on from the Chinese side on the border. In response to the Chinese action, proper deployment was made from the Indian side as well. The Chinese side is expected to work for an early resolution so that the remaining issues in eastern Ladakh are resolved.
