The Indian Army and DRDO jointly tested the country’s advanced battle tank Arjun Mark-1A once again at the Pokaran field firing range at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The tank has met all its standards in testing. Now it paved the way for joining the army. The old tanks of the army’s two tank regiments will be replaced by this. An order to purchase 118 tanks, known as the Hunter Killer, was drafted in the army in March, but the army sought to improve it. DRDO then added about 14 new features to the tank.
The DRDO then made four improvements to the tank. Now the fire power capacity has been increased considerably. New technology transmission system has been installed. It is able to find its own goal. The tank will have a commander, gunner, loader and crew crew. This tank will be able to move easily by cleaning the mines laid on the battlefield. Special sensors are installed to protect against chemical attack.
