Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the construction work of the Agra Metro Rail Project through virtual means on 07 December 2020. This project with two corridors will help the tourists. Through this project, tourist spots like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Sikandra will be connected to the railway station and bus stand.
Inauguration program was done at Agra’s 15 battalion PAC Parade Ground. This project will make life easier for the people of Agra and will also be helpful for the tourists coming to Agra. Union Minister of Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries participated in this program.

The rate of interest on education loan has come down. Smokers are getting cheaper loans from banks. According to the Prime Minister, work is being done from public transport to housing.
PM Modi said that the faith of the workers and farmers of the country is visible in every election. Two-three days ago, Telangana, Hyderabad has given unprecedented confidence. The smallest happiness of the countrymen is giving me the courage to do new work. The Prime Minister said that to make smart improvements in Agra, projects worth about thousand crores are already underway.
The PM said that in the six years after the year 2014, more than 450 km of metro lines are operational in the country and about 1000 km of metro lines are in progress. The PM said that due to modern facilities and modern connectivity, this potential of Western UP is increasing further.
