Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the CoWin Global Conclave on 05 July 2021 and mentioned the role of the digital platform ‘CoWIN’ in battling the pandemic COVID-19. During the address, he first expressed his deep condolences to the people who lost their lives in the epidemic in all the countries of the world.
The Prime Minister said that since the beginning of the pandemic, India has been committed to sharing all its experiences, expertise and resources with the global community in this fight. Despite all our compulsions, we have tried to share as much as possible with the world.
Prime Minister Modi said that vaccination is a hope to emerge from corona infection. We have connected the vaccination campaign through digital medium from the very beginning. We all have to move forward together.
Recently many countries have shown interest in using the technology used in India’s vaccination campaign. The National Health Authority said that India, along with CoWin, is excited to join hands with the world to win over Corona.
Significantly, about 50 countries, including Canada, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama and Uganda, have shown interest in adopting the digital platform CoVin for vaccination campaigns.
Experts related to health and technology representing many countries participated in this Covin Conclave. Its main objective is to share India’s experience with respect to global vaccination to fight corona through the CoWin platform.
