India conducted another successful missile test on Friday. Scientists successfully tested the surface-to-air Quick Reaction Missile System on the Balasore coast of Odisha. During the test, the missile hit its target with the exact target within the specified time.
Explain that the QRSAM missile has been built by DRDO scientists for the Indian Army. It can destroy the enemy in a range of 25-30 km in any season. It was deployed in eastern Ladakh in June this year.
According to sources, the missile is fired from a mobile launcher, which is capable of carrying six missiles. All QRSAM weapon systems have a battery multifunction radar, battery surveillance radar, battery command post vehicle and mobile launcher, which were used in the test.

The radar tracked the target-made PTA, after which launched the missile into the zone and successfully shot down the aircraft. Various labs of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) such as DRDL, RCI, LRDE, R&D, IRDE and ITR participated in the trial.
Significantly, India has conducted several tests one after the other in the border dispute with China and Pakistan. Last month also India tested the Nag Anti Tank Guided Missile developed by DRDO.
