After a partial failure of Chandrayaan 2 mission the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) plans to send another soft lander on the moon . The mission to be call as Chandrayaan 3.
In Chandrayaan 2 the lander (Vikram ) and rover (Pragyan) have to soft land on the surface of the moon but they lost connection and they crash
While the orbiter is still survive in the orbit of the moon which is at 100 km distance. It takes very high resolution visuals of the moon.
A gist of Chandrayaan 3
- As orbiter from Chandrayaan 2 already exist therefore in this phase no orbiter will be feature in it.
- For this mission only scientist engineers will only make new lander and rover.
- It’s expected schedule is in November 2020.
