As we all know that now there’s only a month left for NDA 2 2019 examination. So it’s time for the final preparation for the examination. Aspirants preparing for the NDA must know that NDA examination comprises of two papers ; paper I of Maths and Paper II of GAT ( general ability test).GAT contains various sections, they are G.K, G.S, Current affairs & English. These sections also contain some sub-sections in which the General science section includes Physics, Chemistry and Biology. General Science is considered as an equally important section for NDA exam as it contains almost 50 questions of the total paper. So it becomes necessary for an NDA aspirant to prepare thoroughly for NDA science.
Here we are providing some tips & tricks to crack science in NDA 2 2019 examination.
FOUR SEPARATE LISTS FOR PHYSICS
Physics can be divided in 4 categories i.e., derivation, formulas, definition and numerical. Before beginning with a new topic, make four separate lists of derivation, formulas and definition. Go through the list every time when you sit to study that particular topic. Make the fourth list in which you can write down the page number and questions number of the questions that are important.
MAKE A PORTABLE DIARY
One of the best ideas to learn physics is maintaining a small diary. Write down only the important stuff in it and the purpose of making this diary is to invest the free time in learning the subject. Since it’s portable, therefore, you can take it anywhere and revise it anytime.
NCERT FOR CHEMISTRY
For chemistry, the foundation for difficult studies of 11th and 12th class is laid in secondary class like 10th. So, if you want to know everything that you are studying in chemistry, start reading class 10th NCERT. Though, the basics of every subject of higher classes are taught in secondary classes, so for Chemistry, the introduction given in class 10th NCERT book is good to revise.
PHYSICAL AND ORGANIC CHEMISTRY
As you all are well aware that Chemistry is divided in 2 parts, Physical chemistry and organic Chemistry. The physical part mostly contains numerical, derivations and definitions. Aspirants those are good in physics are fine with this part of chemistry too. Same process can be followed to get hold on organic part of chemistry. More than half of the organic chemistry is based on naming reactions; therefore it is a necessity to keep a harmony with naming reactions. Also the basic knowledge of at least first 30 elements should be on your finger tips.
UNDERSTANDING CONCEPTS
Keep only one thought in mind while studying Science that you want to gain knowledge, only then you can understand it. Clearing concept is the most essential thing to do in science. Never move to the next topic, until you are clear with the current one because Science is one of the subjects that can create a lot of confusion if things are not clear, and most often, these confusions occurs at the time of exam.
BIOLOGY
Biology contains questions related to various topics . Fortunately, questions in this section are not very tough. Therefore, not a lot of efforts are needed to get through this one. Make a list of important topics, and explore them. Try to remember them like general knowledge. Syllabus of class 10th is enough to cover Biology.
It is important to learn & more important to practice. It’s time for every NDA aspirant to stat their revision and try to practice as many questions as possible to crack the examination.
