Movies Like Gunjan Saxena and Patriotic Movies are now giving a Push to Females to Join Indian Air Force.After the Supreme Court Verdict in 2011 National Defence Academy has opened doors for Females. Many Females Often Get Confused with Ways to Join Indian Air Force.In this Blog we will discuss about the Ways Through which Girls can join Indian Air Force. How Girls Can Join Indian Air Force are as follows:-

1. NDA Entry

National Defence Academy known as NDA is gateway to Become Class 1 Officer With  Army Air Force and Navy .To join NDA One should be Aged between 16.5-19.5 .Its a 3 Step Process to Get into NDA:-

Step 1-Written Exam

Step 2-SSB Interviews

Step 3-Medical Followed by Final Merit

Through NDA 6 Seats Are Reserved For Girls.2 For Pilots,2 For GDOC Technical also known as Ground DutyTechnical and 2 For GDOC Non Technical.In Total 6 Seats Are Reserved for Females In NDA .In other Words Girls can now join Air Force through NDA.

2. AFCAT Entry

The Most Common Entry for Graduate Females is through AFCAT known as Air Force Common Admission Test.Through AFCAT Feamles can Become Pilot,can become Ground Duty Technical and can become Ground Duty Non Technical Commissioned Officer.

AFCAT Exam is Conducted twice a year and involves 3 Step Methodology:-

Step 1-Written Exam

Step 2-SSB Interviews

Step 3-Medical Followed by Final Merit

AFCAT Exam is conducted Twice a Year and Offers both SSC-Short Service Commission and Permanent Commission in Indian Air Force

3. NCC C Certificate -Direct Entry

Girls aged between 19-25 who have NCC C Certificate and have done Graduation with 60% Marks can directly Join Indian Air Force without giving any written Examination .Candidates have to just do NCC C Certificate
