From 18th October 2019, 7th Military World games starts in Wuhan, China. It is an event organise without any interference of politics or sectarian motive. It focuses on the advance peace. The event is inaugurated by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

- International Military Sports Council also known as CISM runs the Military World Games.
- The purpose is to establish international competition.
- It almost occurs as summer and winter editions.
- Five nations found Military World Games in 1948 which are Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands.
- It is a multi- sport event for military personnel.
- Only active military person can participate in the games.
- Another name of Military world game is Olympics games for military.

- In this more than 10,000 athletes will participate.
- The multi-sport event includes 25 official and 2 demonstrative sports
- the event also includes 6 new sport disciplines.
- Some games like table tennis, badminton, tennis, men’s gymnastics and women’s boxing are include for the first time in 2019 games.
- In this event 140 countries will participate and also have 329 events in 27 sports.
- 100 soldiers from 3 wings of armed forces also participate in World Military Games.
In the event Para-athlete Anandan Gunasekaran won two gold medals in the disabled men’s 100m and 400m IT1 events at the 7th CISM World Military Games on 22 October at Wuhan, China.
