Features of AGNI II
- Advanced Systems Laboratory with DRDO develop the Agni II missile.
- The range of strike of the missile set upto 2000 to 5000 km.
- Agni II missile is the surface to surface missile , a versatile missile and also a nuclear capable missile of medium range.
- It was launched at Launch Complex 4 of the Integrated Test Range(ITR) by mobile launcher.
- Indian Armed force already includes Agni II missile .
- It is a two phase missile and also well furnished with high accuracy navigation system.
- Bharat Dynamic Limited which is located in Hyderabad integrates the missile Agni II.
- It is also a part of Agni series missiles.
About test trial
- Indian army with DRDO form Strategic Forces Command (SFC) for testing different missile launched.
- To keep an eye on trial path following stations and equipment have been setup.
- an observation stations,
- A battery of radars and also
- Electro- optic instruments
- Besides above all 2 Naval ships also observing the impact point from area of Bay of Bengal.
