Indian Army recruits the number of youngster candidates every year in the armed force. India Army GD is known as General Duty Soldier.
GD post in the Army is General Duty Soldiers. They are non technical people and are trained to do general duties such as gate keeping in military areas, providing blood reports in military hospital. GD is the lowest rank in army.
Armed forces technical officers are responsible for the maintenance and management of technical military equipment, including communications gear, weapons, ammunition, submarines, ships, jets, helicopters, tanks and other land vehicles.
The Army has its own hospitals and polyclinics. All kinds of specialists are present in Army Hospitals. Each hospital and polyclinic requires Nursing Assistants to assist the doctors, look after the patients, work in the Operation Theaters, account for medicines in the medical stores and administer first aid.
Eligibility Criteria for Army GD
- Age limit: 17.5- 21 years
- Educational Qualification: 10th (any stream with aggregate 45%)
- Gender: Male
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Nationality: Candidates must be either,
- Citizen of India, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A Tibetan refugee
Eligibility Criteria for Army Clerk/ SKT (Store Keeper Technical)
- Age limit: 17.5- 23 years
- Educational Qualification: 10+ 2 (any stream with aggregate 60% and in English 50%)
- Gender: Male
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Nationality: Candidates must be either,
- Citizen of India, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A Tibetan refugee
Eligibility Criteria for Army Technical
- Age limit: 17.5- 23.5 years
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 (PCM with aggregate 50% and in English 50%)
- Gender: Male
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Nationality: Candidates must be either,
- Citizen of India, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A Tibetan refugee
Eligibility Criteria for Army Nursing Assistant
- Age limit: 17.5- 23.5 years
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Biology with aggregate 50% and in English 50%)
- Gender: Male
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Nationality: Candidates must be either,
- Citizen of India, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A Tibetan refugee
