Immediately after clearing your 10^th you have to start for 11^th by choosing any stream among i.e., medical (PCB)/non- medical (PCM)/ Commerce/Arts..Now comes the Question – Which Stream is Best For NDA?

Students who choose Science Stream

Let us Understand NDA Exam.NDA examination consists two papers viz, paper I Mathematics, Paper II GAT. There if you choose PCMB which is very difficult to select then but if you choose this your both the papers will be covered. But this combination is pretty difficult.

It becomes more difficult for the PCB candidates because this is stream suitable for Medical branch.

Therefore PCM is the 2^nd best option after PCMB for NDA.

Students who choose Commerce and Arts Stream

If we talk about Commerce- The subjects like physics, chemistry, history, polity, Maths (NDA) requirement for NDA are missing therefore this is most inappropriate option for choosing stream to join defence forces or NDA.

Next is Arts stream – here again the subject belongs to this stream are not included like physics, chemistry, maths (generally not) instead of these subjects there are subjects studied under arts such as History, Polity, Geography, Economics, and English too, hence only the paper II GAT will be covered with this combination, but the important section of NDA paper is maths which is not covered by these combinations. Hence, it becomes a big hurdle to clear paper I maths for the students belonging to arts stream.

To overcome this problems the candidate must have to cover the complete maths syllabus and this you have to take tuitions or classes apart from the regular studies.Therefore we can conclude that to clear NDA exam you have to select PCM. You can learn history, polity, geography but you can’t learn Physics, chemistry or mathematics.
