Indian Army is soon to Announce New Recruitment Policy Under Tour Of Duty also called Agneepath Scheme. Under Agneepath Scheme Soldiers will be Called as Agniveers. The Recruitment Period For Agni Veers will be 4 years.In Other Words Tour Of Duty will be a Contract of 4 Yrs given to Other Ranks or Personnel Below Officers Rank of Tri Services.Tour Of Duty aims to recruit 45000-50000 Soldiers through Tour Of Duty Every Year.
Salary In Tour Of Duty
Salary Offered in Tour Of Duty would be close to 30,000 and at the End Of The Tenure ,The Soldiers will be Offered a Tax Free Amount of Rs 10 Lakh as one time Settlement Amount
Degree or Diploma
Based on the Nature Of Job Of Agniveer After 4 Years Degree Or Diploma will be awarded to The Soldier.so That Post Contract he is able to Place himself in Some Corporate Sector
Recruitment Policy
Agniveers will be Recruited for period of 4 years after which all of them will be given Compulsory Retirement.Post Retirement 25% will be recruited back and will serve for next 20 years.By this way Recruitment Process will become a Chain Reaction and on going Recruitment will be a Ever Lasting Process
