Territorial Army  application form Comes Every Year in the Month Of April and comes on Territorial Army Website. Candidates need to send applications along  with photocopy of release order and photocopy of release medical board proceedings to Directorate General Territorial Army, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence, 4th Floor, ‘A’ Block, Ministry of Defence Office Complex, KG Marg, New Delhi – 110001. The territorial Army application form for Civilians is released online. The application fees for Territorial Army exam for Civilians are INR 200.

TERRITORIAL ARMY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates planning to apply for the TA post can check the minimum Eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• Nationality: Only the Indian citizens are allowed to apply
• Age Limits: The candidates planning to apply for this post must be aged between 18 and 42 years while applying.

• Physical Standards: Candidates who are physically and medically fit can apply.

Territorial Army Eligibility Criteria for Ex-Servicemen

The Ex-Service Officers aged between 18 to 42 years while applying are eligible. Candidates need to be a graduate and must be in a good health. However, candidates who have served the Regular Army/ Navy/ Air Force/ Police/ GREF/ Para Military and other forces are not permitted to apply.

TERRITORIAL ARMY EXAM PATTERN 

Time: Maximum time for each paper is 02 hrs and will be conducted in two sessions from 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs and 14:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs.

Type of Exam: Objective (OMR Answer Sheet will be used).

Qualifying Marks: The Candidates will have to score minimum 40% marks in each paper separately and have an overall average of 50% to qualify.

Penalty for Wrong Answers: There will be a penalty imposed for wrong answers marked by a candidate as under:-

• There will be four possible answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, half of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
• If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct. Penalty will be imposed as above.
• There will be no penalty for questions not attempted.
