NDA 1 2023 Notification Out

Every year, the Union Public Service Commission arranges the NDA or National Defense Academy admission test. It is a national level admission test via which students are selected into training academies of the Indian Navy, Indian Military, and Air Force. In this blog we will discuss about NDA 1 2023 Form Notification in details. 

The NDA (I) 2023 Application Form will be available on December 21, 2022. The exam date has been set. For the first session, the test will be held on April 16, 2023. To be eligible for admittance into the NDA, candidates must pass the entrance exam, followed by SSB interview rounds and medical examinations. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination.

NDA 1 2023 Application Form : Important Dates

Bellow a detailed insight on the NDA 1 2023 Form Notification and important dates related to the exam:

• Application Begin : 21/12/2022
• Last Date for Apply Online : 10/01/2023 Upto 06:00 PM Only
• Pay Exam Fee Last Date : 10/01/2023
• NDA I Exam Date : 16/04/2023
• Admit Card Released : Before Exam

The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website (upsconline.nic.in) for being downloaded by candidates. No Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.

How to Fill UPSC NDA I Exam 2023 Online Form

• Union Public Service Commission UPSC Are Released the Notification for NDA I Exam 2023 for the 395 Vacancies in Army, Navy, Airforce Recruitment 2023 Candidate Can Apply Between 21/12/2022 to 10/01/2023.
• UPSC has implemented OTR i.e. One Time Registration system for all other types of recruitment including NDA.
• Any candidate who is going to apply or thinking of applying in NDA First Exam 2023, they will have to do their One Time Registration immediately. Only after that you will be able to apply.
• Kindly Check and Collect the All Document – Eligibility, ID Proof, Address Details, Basic Details.
• Kindly Ready Scan Document Related to Recruitment Form – Photo, Sign, ID Proof, Etc.
• Before Submit the Application Form Must Check the Preview and All Column Carefully.
• If Candidate Required to Paying the Application Fee Must Submit. If You have Not the Required Application Fees Your Form is Not Completed.
• Take A Print Out of Final Submitted Form.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:—

Height and Weight Standards for Female Candidates joining NDA:

(a) The minimum height required for entry into the Armed Forces for female Candidates is 152 cm. Gorkhas and candidates belonging to Hills of North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm. An allowance for growth of 02 cm will be made for candidates below 18 yrs at the time of examination. The minimum height requirement for the Flying Branch is 163 cm. Flying Branch also requires other anthropometric standards like sitting height, leg length and thigh
length.

(b) Weight for height charts given below is for all categories of personnel. This chart is prepared based on the BMI. The chart specifies the minimum acceptable weight that candidates of a particular height must have. Weights below the minimum specified will not be acceptable in any case. The maximum acceptable weight of height has been specified in age wise categories. Weights higher than the acceptable limit will be acceptable only in the case of candidates with documented evidence of body building, 42 wrestling, and boxing at the National level. In such cases the following criteria will have to be met.

(i) Body Mass Index should be below 25.
(ii) Waist Hip ratio should be below 0.9 for male and 0.8 for
female.
(iii) Waist Circumference should be less than 90 cm for male and
80 cm for female.
(iv) All biochemical metabolic parameters should be within
normal limits.

Note: The height and weight for candidates below 17 years will be followed as per guidelines by ‘Indian Academy of Paediatrics growth charts for height, weight and BMI for 05 Years to 16 Years old children’ amended from time to time.

Height and Weight Standards for Male Candidates joining NDA:

Height requirement varies as per the stream of entry. Weight should be proportionate to height as per the chart given below:-

(a) Weight for height charts given above is for all categories of personnel. This chart is prepared based on the BMI. The chart specifies the minimum acceptable weight that candidates of a particular height must have. Weights below the minimum specified will not be acceptable in any case. The maximum acceptable weight of height has been specified in age wise categories. (b) The minimum height required for male/female candidates for entry into the Armed Forces is 157 cm or as decided by the respective recruiting agency. Gorkhas and candidates
belonging to Hills of North Eastern region of India. Garhwal and Kumaon, will be accepted with a minimum height of 152 cm.

Note : An allowance for growth of 02 cm will be made for both male and female candidates below 18 yrs of age at the time of examination. The minimum height requirement for the Flying Branch is 163 cm. Anthropometric standards like sitting height, leg length and thigh length are also required by the Flying Branch.
