Let us talk about Various Ways To Become an Army Officer:-
1.) NDA-After Class 12 Entry
National Defence Academy also known as NDA is a gateway to become a Commissioned Officer Its an Academy which Makes Commissioned Officers in Army,Air Force and Navy.To get into NDA one needs to cross 3 Steps:-
Step 1 -Written Exam
Step 2-SSB Interviews
Step 3-Medical
Those Candidates who clear these steps join NDA. Joining is in Month of January and July. Age to fill NDA Form is 16.5-19.5 yrs. This Entry is For Both Males and Females.
2.) 10+2 TES-After Class 12 Entry
10+2 TES Entry is a Direct Entry through which Candidates aged between 16.5-19.5 yrs can join Army and Do Engineering at Cost Of Indian Army.Its a dual advantage as in Joining Army and Becoming a Engineer Both Becomes Easy with this Entry.All you need to have is 70% and Above in 10+2 PCM and a JEE Score. With these 2 conditions meeting Candidates Need not give any written Exam and can directly go to face SSB Interview
3. CDS-Graduate Entry
Combined Defence Services Entry is for those Candidates who have done Graduation or are final year Graduates.Any Graduate Subject but age should be 19-25yrs. There is no Percentage Criteria
To get into CDS one needs to cross 3 Steps:-
Step 1 -Written Exam
Step 2-SSB Interviews
Step 3-Medical
This Entry is For Both Males and Females. CDS Written Exam is also Conducted by UPSC
4. TGC-Graduate Entry
TGC Entry is for those Candidates who have done B.Tech in Graduation or are final year Graduates of B.Tech Stream. To Apply through TGC aspirants need to score minimum 60% marks in their B.tech or till their final year in case pursuing
Its again a Direct Entry and Candidates dont have to give any written Examination of any kinds. This Entry is only for Males
5. SSC Tech-Graduate Entry
SSC Tech is for those males and female Candidates who have done B.Tech in Graduation or are final year Graduates of B.Tech Stream.To Apply through SSC Tech aspirants need to score minimum 60% marks in their B.tech or till their final year in case pursuing
Its again a Direct Entry and Candidates don’t have to give any written Examination of any kinds
