I am going to answer this question with the support of some facts and figures. Till date there are 400 seats are dedicated to NDA men and women for Army, Air Force, Navy.
An article was published in The Times of India 2 yrs back which stated Out Of 400 seats, ‘mostly selected students of NDA belong to rural background . More than 70% candidates going to NDA belongs to small cities, towns, villages those who belongs to UP, then Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand and then rest of states.
Since last 19 years, Trishul Defence Academy is based in Allahabad now known as Prayagraj. From the experience we have that the candidates belongs to state boards have a strong grammar section.
Now, in the recent past during the COVID 2020 time, it was the year when new education policy was launched. Which focuses on one board system throughout the country eliminating differences between different state boards through replacing all the state board books with NCERT pattern books which means that if a student of any state board is studying calculus in maths in his 11 standard then, the student studying in CBSE or ISC is studying the same no matter where he/she belong to. This means if you belong to any state board then the student of other English medium boards is also studying the same. Same in mathematics, physics, history, geography etc.
Now, in the NDA exam, the first paper is mathematics, which comprises maths topics from 11th and 12th std maths having common in all books. History, geography, polity is upto the standard of 10th which is also common. Aspirants, this is just a doubt of mind that, if I belong to a state board then I am unable to crack NDA.

Rather in SSB interview English is compulsory, many of the YouTuber’s says that you can clear SSB speaking Hindi. Then this is completely a myth. One cannot clear SSB without speaking English..
