Can Family Members Wear Medals of Army Soldier ?
Soldiers/Officers are awarded with the medals for their act of heroism or any Extra Ordinary Work ,Outstanding Work or Achievements.

Till 2019 Only the Personnel who was awarded with Medal could wear Medals but in July 2019 an Order Was Passed where Next of Kin or Any Family Member can Wear Medals after the Original Recipient has Passed Away.
These Medals can be Worn by Family Members or Next of Kin while attending Funerals,War Memorial or Cemeteries.the medals can be Worn on Right Side of Chest Only
With this Permission-The Legacy Of Award Winner Continues, Even After Their Death Thus Family Members can Wear Medals Even After Death Of Awardee..
