Uttarakhand: Jet fighter flies near China border amid snowfall

Amid heavy snowfall, Indian troops are busy patrolling along the China border. At the same time, the Indian Air Force jet fighter aircraft flew on Monday to take stock of the China border.

The China border from Milam to Lipulekh is bordered by Pithoragarh district. After the infiltration of Chinese troops in Ladakh, the entire border along the district has been declared a high alert. Adequate number of army and paramilitary forces are deployed on this border.
The Indian Army personnel, aware of China’s policy and intention, are monitoring the border with full vigor in the high Himalayan region posts even in winter. The nighttime temperatures in this region are dropping below minus five degrees.

Water has started freezing in the taps due to continuous snowfall. Despite this, the soldiers are patrolling day and night. According to the sources, in view of the situation of the border, the soldiers will remain in the forward posts throughout the winter.

The border is also being monitored by air along with foot patrol. Indian Air Force personnel from time to time are inspecting the border patrol with aircraft and jet fighters. On Monday also, the Air Force jet fighter flew twice near the China border to take stock of the border security.
