On the occasion of 50 years of Indian Army’s victory in the Indo-Pak war in 1971, the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (Scott) of the Air Force on Monday conducted a flypast over the capital Dehradun with Hawk fighter planes. The Doon Valley reverberated with the roar of warplanes.
The team of brave pilots of Surya Kiran team reached the capital Doon after taking off from Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad, demonstrated their ability by circling the sky twice. This was probably the first time that so many warplanes of the Air Force flew in the skies of the state simultaneously.

On the occasion of Vijay Varsh, people came out of their homes after hearing the roar of orange and white war planes. For once, people did not understand what had happened after all, but when the Surya Kiran team returned to the zigzag formation five minutes later, the townspeople saw the flypast and captured it on their mobile phone cameras as well.
After making two rounds in the sky, the Surya Kiran team returned to Hindon airbase with the planes. People were in awe of the orange and white Hawk war planes. The Indian Air Force has always been the pride of the nation because of its professionalism, accuracy and prowess.
