Sources said that MARCOS has been deployed in the Pangong Lake area where the Indian and Chinese forces are in a conflict situation over the border dispute from April-May this year. He said that the Navy commandos are soon going to get new boats to operate in the lake. This will enable the existing infrastructure to be monitored and the lake monitored.
Special forces of the Indian Army, including the Para Special Forces and the Special Frontier Force of the Cabinet Secretariat, have been carrying out special operations in East Ladakh for a long time. Garuda Special Forces of the Indian Air Force took over the top of the hill at strategic heights on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with Igla shoulder-to-air defense systems to take care of any fighter or other aircraft in the early days of the conflict Ranked.
