India has made tremendous preparations to meet the challenges of the fierce winter, as no solution to the ongoing deadlock from China in Ladakh comes out soon. The Indian Army has provided beds, shelves, electricity, water, heaters to keep warm, and sanitation arrangements for all soldiers deployed in extremely inaccessible areas to deal with any daring of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China. Modern accommodation equipped with amenities has been prepared. Sources said that according to the deployment of the soldiers present at the front, hot tents have been arranged for them.
Sources said on Wednesday that in some places with the presence of the Indian Army, the temperature falls to minus 40 degrees Celsius in the winter after November. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of snow in the high altitude areas from 30 to 40 feet during winter. Preparations of the army are clearly visible in a video running on social media.
These residential dwellings have many rooms. In addition, adequate civilian infrastructure has also been built to meet any contingency needs of soldiers. With their construction, the Indian Army’s operational capability will increase in the winter season. The army had smart camps for deployment in the winter till now. New housing will also fill their shortage.
Controversy continues over the border in eastern Ladakh, with about 50-50 thousand soldiers deployed from both sides of the border in Ladakh. The armies of both countries have also come face to face several times since May. On June 15, there was a violent skirmish between Indian and Chinese forces in Galvan. In this, 20 Indian soldiers were killed, while more than 40 soldiers of China were killed. At the same time, since then, both countries have deployed a large number of soldiers in this area.
