23-year-old Anchit Kumar of Dhar Panjhera village of Bohol Taliya Panchayat of Rajgarh subdivision of Sirmour (Simour), Himachal Pradesh, has laid down his life in defence of the country. In Arunachal Pradesh, 21 Dogra jawans were going from one post to another on LAC.
During this time, Anchit Kumar became martyred in the operation. The incident has been reported around 6 pm on Tuesday evening. The family was informed about Martyred son’s martyrdom last night. Apart from parents at home, grandfather Krishna Dutt Sharma and grandmother Sharda Devi are also proud of the martyrdom of grandchildren.
On October 24, along with father Rajesh and mother Sunita, grandparents were promised to come home soon while returning to duty. Younger sister Neetika is shocked after receiving information about her brother’s martyrdom. The parents had an undisclosed only son.

BJP state president and MP Suresh Kashyap has expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family. Major Deepak Dhawan, Deputy Director of Sainik Welfare Board, while confirming the martyrdom of the military soldier, said that official information has been received in this regard.
