Security forces have achieved great success in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were arrested during vehicle checking on Friday. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.
Talking to PTI, an official said that the three arrested terrorists have been identified as Abid Mushtaq, Adil Jamal and Danish Rasool Bhatt. All three are said to be residents of Tral area of Pulwama district.
He said that the security forces had received information about the suspects at a checkpoint in Mir Bazar in Kulgam district. On which intensive vehicle checking was done in the area. During the checking of the vehicle, the security forces caught the three. Two of them were in the car while one was going on a motorcycle.
Four grenades, four detonators, one country-made bomb, one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and pistol bullets were recovered from them, the official said. All three are currently being questioned.
