One soldier was killed and two others were injured in an avalanche hit by an army post in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials said an avalanche hit an army post at Roshan Post near the Line of Control in Tangdhar area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday night. He said that an army soldier was killed and two others were injured in the accident. He said that the injured soldiers have been admitted to the hospital.
An army soldier was injured in a blast in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police sources said Captain Saurav Kumar of the 19 Kumaon Regiment was injured on Tuesday evening while he was handling a grenade which suddenly exploded. The incident took place in Balakot sector of the Line of Control (LoC). The injured have been admitted to the Army Hospital in Rajouri.
