Argentina’s world-renowned footballer Diego Maradona died on November 25, 2020 after suffering a heart attack. He was 60 years old.
Maradona was admitted to the hospital in early November 2020, a few days after celebrating his birthday. He was feeling tired and weak for many days. His tests showed that a blood clot had formed in his brain. According to doctors, Diego Maradona’s brain operation was successfully completed.
Maradona was also released from the hospital, but later in early November 25, he suffered a cardiac arrest and paramedics failed to recover him.
Star footballer Diego Maradona was born on October 30, 1960, and began his professional career at the age of 16 with the Argentine Juniors and in a few years he became the world’s greatest football player. Diego Armando Maradona was Argentina’s most famous professional football player and manager who is considered to be one of the greatest football players in the world. He was given FIFA’s 20th Century Award jointly with another player.
Maradona represented Boca Juniors, Napoli, Barcelona, Nouvelles Old Boys as a player. In 1986, he was also considered as the main player in helping Argentina win the country’s second World Cup title.
