IAF to introduce Light Combat Helicopter Made in India
Indian Air Force (IAF) will receive its first light combat helicopter (LCH) produced in India. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari will be present at the occasion in Jodhpur.
-The Light Combat Helicopter was created by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., a state-run aerospace company (HAL)
The plane has been built mainly for use in high-altitude areas.
The LCH and the Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv are comparable. For increased survivability, it incorporates several stealth features, armoured protection systems, night assault capability, and crash-worthy landing gear.
