CDSE has 3 Papers:-English,Gk and Maths.
English
In this test basic English has been tested candidates has to clear it for sure and this will be easiest of all three sections,
you need to be good in English you need to read write and speak in English so as to clear the SSB you have to learn English so as to qualify SSB.
Topics
The test comprises of basic grammar, spotting the correct sentences, antonyms, synonyms etc.
Tips to clear English Test:
- Try to make habit of reading English newspaper daily to improve your vocabulary and reading power this will help you to solve comprehension easily.
- Improve your vocabulary for solving antonyms & synonyms.
- Memorise the things by writing not reading.
- For rest topics better to have some books or to join Best Defence Academy
- Solve previous year questions this will help you to understand the patter of paper and will surely help you to solve the paper easily.
General Knowledge:
GK consist of History, Geography, Polity, Economics, General Science, Current Affairs, Indian Defence etc.
Tips to clear GK Test
- Read newspaper daily and watch English news channel for betterment of gaining knowledge and understand the English.
- Go through the books related to defence and good books related to SSB Interviews.
- Read NCERT books of History, Geography, Polity, and Science etc.
Elementary Mathematics:
Maths contains Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Menstruation and Basic statistics of the matriculation standard.
Tips to clear Math Test
- Solve previous year paper as much as u can.
- First try to solve easy topics after that hold for hard topics to boost your morale
- Make all topics cleared according to syllabus.
- Write all possible formulas and memorise them.
- Practice hard paper regularly
Tips to prepare for CDSE II 2019
Under Stand Syllabus
Understand the syllabus of the exam in order to understand the previous pattern of examination.
Topics
Try to Pick Up the easy topics first and then go for the hard topics so that u can able to vouch each and every topic.
Unsolved Papers
Try to solve the unsolved papers for better understanding the paper and type of questions which will be asked during examination.
Time Table
Set a time table for your studies and if you are serious try to study at least 6 to 8 hrs for better selection and refer maximum books of CDSE for any help.
Revision
Revision of topics of class 10th is necessary take out 10th class syllabus and start revising it that will cover your half of the syllabus and for rest of the topics start prepare for the one which is easy to practice and after completion of easy topics now go for harder one.
Make Notes
Try to make notes of your revision and highlight those topics which you have completed this will help you to revise again from the same book from which you are revising.
Time Management
Time Management is very important part for any competitive examination this doesn’t means that you will solve the maximum questions because negative marking is also there so it’s better divide the time between easy and hard topic easy topics will cover one fourth of your syllabus and rest is belong to hard topics.
