Airforce exam is divided into two groups
- X group ( Technical)
- Y group ( Non Technical)
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection for the post of Indian Air force X group based on three-phase of examination-
- Written Examination
- Physical Standard Test, SRT and GD
- Medical Fitness Test
EXAM PATTERN:-
The questions of X group exam are of objectives types. There is a penalty of ¼ marks deduction on every wrong answers.
AIRFORCE X GROUP
Airforce X group syllabus consists of 3 subjects:-
- Section 1-English which Comprises of 20 Questions.
- Section 2-Physics which comprises of 25 Questions.
- Section 3-Maths which comprises of 25 Questions.

In the Maths Section Stuents should focus on Alzebra Portion which includes chapters like Logrithms,Quadratic Equations,Binomial Theorem,Sequence and Series,Set ,Relation and Functions,Permutation n Combination is necessary for Studying Binomial Theorem thus we need to cover Binomial Theorem as well.When we talk about Alzebra we cannot forget chapters like Probability and Matrices and Determinants too
Trignometry has always been few of the important chapters and topics include Trignometric Function,Trignometric Ratios and Identities.Height and Distance Chapter is not included in the syllabus of Air Force X Group.
In Coordinate Geometry, Focus has to be on both 2-D and Three Dimensional Geometry.Integral Calculus & Differential Calculus cant be left out too. Statistics is no more Part of the Syllabus.
