Former Goa governor, litterateur and BJP leader Mridula Sinha died on 18 November 2020. She was 77 years old. She was also a skilled writer, who made extensive contributions to the world of literature and culture. The death of Mridula Sinha, born in Bihar, has caused irreparable damage to the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah have mourned her death. Mridula Sinha was the first female governor of Goa. Born in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, Sinha was a well-known Hindi writer as well as a senior BJP leader.

Sh did MA in Psychology and B.Ed. After this, he taught in a college in Muzaffarpur. She was also the principal of a school in Motihari. Later, she left the job and went completely into writing.
Mridula Sinha, a resident of Muzaffarpur in Bihar, was the Governor of Goa from 2014 to 2019. Former Governor Dr. Mridula Sinha has left behind a full family including two sons and a daughter.
Mridula Sinha was also the chairman of the Central Social Welfare Board during the time of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Her published books include Rajpath to Lokpath, Nai Devayani, Gharwas, Dekhen Lagoon Lagge, Sita Puni Boli etc.
