A passing out parade of 217 cates of the 139th course of the National Defense Academy was held in Pune, Maharashtra. Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria took the salute of this parade.
National Defense Academy held a passing out parade for 217 cadets of 139th course on Saturday. All of them received their degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in the convocation on Friday.
There are 49 cadets in 217 passing cadets in Science stream, 113 cadets in Computer Science stream and 55 cadets in Arts stream. Twelve cadets from friendly foreign countries were also awarded degrees.

Battalion Cadet Adjutant Dhananjay Jasrotia secured 1st place in the Arts Stream for the Commandant’s Silver Medal and Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Trophy and Squadron Cadet Captain Sawan Mann commanded the Silver Medal of Commandant and 1st place in the B.Tech Stream. Won the trophy of Admiral OS Dawson.
Cadet Quartermaster Sergeant Arshit Kapoor won the Silver Medal of Commandant and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Trophy for finishing first in the science stream. Squadron Cadet Captain Parul Yadav won the Silver Medal of Commandant and the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Trophy for finishing first in the computer science stream.
The fourth batch of BTech course, comprising 45 naval cadets and 35 air force cadets, has also received the completion certificate. They will continue the fourth year of their BTech course in their respective academies.
