Bilateral talks between India and Greece to increase trade and technology relations

On October 29, 2020, the External Affairs Minister, S.K. Jaishankar held talks with Greece’s Foreign Minister Nicos Dandias and discussed how to improve overall relations, including ways to promote mutual cooperation in trade and technology between the two countries.

S.Jaishankar, giving information about this meeting via Twitter, stated that, the agenda involved regional institutions in this agenda and also mentioned that, during a warm meeting with Nikos Dendias, the two ministers in various fields You have talked about increasing cooperation.

Salient features of bilateral talks between India and Greece

During this virtual meeting, the ministers of India and Greece discussed the creation of historical friendship between these two countries by increasing cooperation on technology, commerce and culture.

During this bilateral meeting, the regional institutions of the two countries are also included in this agenda and it has been decided that both India and Greece will work together in multilateral areas.

Nikos Dandias and S. Jaishankar also discussed a wide range of mutual regional and multilateral issues, particularly in the context of India’s upcoming UNSC membership.
