UPSC CDS 1 2021 Notification: If you are preparing for UPSC CDS Exam 2021, then get ready. Its notification has been issued after which registration will start from today itself.
According to the schedule released by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for the year 2021, notification for Combined Defense Services Examination (1) 2021 will be released today. This can be seen on the Commission’s website upsc.gov.in.

Recruitment is done in various defence academies through CDS (1) Exam 2021. These include Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy, and Officer Training Academy, etc.
After the release of the UPSC CDS 1 notification, the application process will start from today. For this applicants need to log on to UPSC’s official website upsconline.nic.in .

Who can Apply?
Different qualifications and criteria are prescribed for selection in different academies under UPSC CDS Exam 2021. For example, to be selected in Indian Military Academy, a candidate must have passed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute. Applicant must be born not earlier than 2 July 1997 and not later than 1 July 2002.

Similarly, to apply for the Indian Naval Academy, one should have a degree in engineering from a recognized university or institute.
The candidate should not have been born before 2 July 1997 and after 1 July 2002.
Similarly, for applying to Air Force Academy, the applicant should have a degree (including Physics and Mathematics subjects up to 10 + 2 level) or a Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized university or institute.\

- Visit the official website of UPSC -upsc.gov.in
- Select the CDS 1 2021 registration link
- A new page will be displayed where you have to fill up the necessary for CDS 1 2021 registration.
- With the same registration ID only fill up part 2 of the application form.
- Fill the application form and do save a soft copy on your computer/mobile for further use.
UPSC CDS 1 2021 Fees
Application fees for all General category is only INR 200 while SC/ST and women are exempted from application fees.
