These days India is constantly giving a befitting reply to the infiltration of Pakistan and China along the border. The Indian Army is expected to be reorganized soon by 2022 through five theatre command in view of the ongoing tension over LAC and LOC. The Department of Military Affairs will soon have additional and joint secretaries after cabinet approval.
Let us tell you that the work of reorganization of the three armies under theatre command has started under serious consideration with the specific Northern Command of China and the specific Western Command of Pakistan. India’s Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat has been given the responsibility of making theatre command by the Narendra Modi government. Let me also tell you that currently, it is only with the soldiers of China and America.
According to military and national security planners, the restructuring of the Northern Command will begin from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh and continue till Kibithu, the last checkpoint in Arunachal Pradesh, which includes the responsibility of guarding 3,425 km of the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The headquarters of this command can be Lucknow.
The Western Command will be remanded on the Saltoro Ridge of the Siachen Glacier area from Indira Col to the tip of Gujarat. It is likely to have its headquarters in Jaipur.
The third theatre command will be the Peninsular Command; The fourth a full air defence command and the fifth a maritime command. The Peninsular Command’s likely headquarters may be Thiruvananthapuram. The Air Defense Command will not only speed up the country’s air strike, but will also be responsible for defending Indian airspace with all anti-aircraft missiles under its control.

Currently the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy all guard Indian airspace at different communication frequencies and without coordination. In this work Shamli people say that there is an option to expand it to an aerospace command as per future requirements.
The task of the maritime command will be to protect the Indian Ocean and the island areas of India and at the same time keep the sea lanes free and open from any external pressure. However, the Indian Navy’s maritime assets will be kept on the western seaboard in Karwar, on the eastern seaboard in Visakhapatnam and in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. With China emerging as a threat, the Maritime Command’s potential headquarters could be the new capital of Andhra Pradesh and Port Blair could become another major base for naval operations.
Stereotyping refers to placing Army, Air Force and Navy units under a single theater command. The operational command of such combinations would be under one officer from one of the three services.
