Airforce exam is divided into two groups
- X group ( Technical)
- Y group ( Non Technical)
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection for the post of Indian Air force X group based on three-phase of examination-
- Written Examination
- Physical Standard Test, SRT and GD
- Medical Fitness Test
EXAM PATTERN:-
The questions of X group exam are of objectives types. There is a penalty of ¼ marks deduction on every wrong answers. Duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise English, Reasoning & General Awareness.
AIRFORCE Y GROUP
Airforce X group syllabus consists of 3 subjects:-
- Section 1-English which Comprises of 20 Questions.
- Section 2-RAGA which comprises of 35

GENERAL AWARENESS SYLLABUS:- Through General Awareness candidate’s knowledge about surroundings events our cultural, geographical and political areas is tested. Various questions related to general science s also asked. To get the Best Guidance for General Knowledge Section,students must join Trishul Defence Academy and take notes from TDA Publications General Knowledge Book. Following is the syllabus covered which stated below :-
- General Science (biology of human body, organic chemistry, etc.)
- Civics (polity, constitution of India, etc.)
- Geography (lakes, river, waterfalls, irrigation and agriculture, etc.)
- Current Events (days, events etc.)
- History (Indian freedom struggle, viceroys, governors, dance, music and fairs, etc.)
- Basic Computer Operations (computer and mobile technology)
SELECTIONS OF AIRFORCE
